Nuala Mahon's father gave her her first Box Brownie camera with the words of warning “Film is expensive!” She was just twelve years old. She has worked throughout Europe and Africa and travelled widely. She uses her camera to record projects but is loathe to intrude on people’s poverty to satisfy her love of photography. She loves creating fantasy photographs from very ordinary objects and has participated in group and solo exhibitions in both Ireland and France.
